Christianity is a life-long journey and learning about Jesus’ teaching is not just for Sunday School children. Jesus asks that we become his disciples and we at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church would like to provide opportunities for adults to nurture and develop their faith. Many have found that small group studies are the ideal place for that to happen. While spending time with an existing group of friends or, while meeting new people, the small group setting has been found to encourage and enrich the study of God’s word and other learning materials.
The Church has a wide variety of programming planned for this year. Why not take a look at the course descriptions in this brochure, see what interests you, what fits into your calendar, and set time aside for your own spiritual growth.
To preserve the intimacy of the small group setting, enrollment for all classes is limited to 10 people. A $20.00 registration fee is charged for most courses to cover materials but feel comfortable about speaking with the Rev. David McMaster if this presents a financial difficulty for you.
If you are interested in joining a program or starting a new group, contact The Rev. David McMaster, 416-925-8494 x.222.

Alpha: Is there more to life than this?
Course TU100: Faith Foundations (Fall 2013)
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The Alpha course includes ten meals and an amazing weekend getaway that comes halfway through the 10-week course. The course meets once per week.
Alpha has become a worldwide phenomenon, now in 164 countries, where millions of people have come to explore the meaning of life. Each session people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life and God is seen as too simple or too hostile… questions like—Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?

Course TU200: Bible (Fall 2012 – Fall 2013)

The Bethel Series is an introduction to the Bible that distinctively deals with the text in a holistic manner. Rather than look at a few key passages, it seeks to introduce the whole in its ancient Jewish and early Christian settings. www.bethelseries.com
