A new course taught by The Rev. David McMaster. Over seven sessions, we will survey the Pentateuch, the Prophets, the Writings in the Old Testament; and the Gospels, the Pauline letters, “Hebrews, Peter, James & John,” and Apocalyptic literature such as Revelation. There will be an emphasis on how to outline a book of the Bible to get a sense of the whole, as well as how to find material on the historical settings of books. With this background material, we will try to interpret selected passages of scripture and learn what God may be saying to us today. The sessions will be held monthly.
