Small Groups

Why not consider joining a small group today?

Our emphasis on discipleship involves a two-prong approach. One helps develop our knowledge of God, the other helps cultivate spirituality and the on-going interaction the Christian should have with God through Jesus Christ. The opportunity to ask questions and hear what others have to share has been encouraging and beneficial to all. Many have stated that the learning, sense of community and fellowship that develops in these studies can be life changing.

The information below outlines small group studies that are currently being offered.

IF YOU WANT TO WALK ON WATER, YOU'VE GOT TO GET OUT OF THE BOAT

Are you looking to grow in your Christian faith? Are you ready to get out of your comfortable pew? Do you want to experience more of the power and presence of God in your life?

With John Ortberg’s book, your Bible, and an interactive study that includes a short video as well as large and small group discussion, you can discover where Jesus is calling you to “come” just as He called to Peter. Ortberg’s book can be purchased in bookstores or online. WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY

We will start a new 5 week study on March 29. Come and listen to a series on the book of Joshua guided by Charles Price, author and pastor.

The series will remind us that “it’s important to consider who leads us; that we are to trust God will put us in the right place, at the right time, for the right purpose.”

Each week we will gather to watch and listen to Charles’ teaching on Joshua and then discuss as a group. There will be a short bible study to prepare each week before coming to the study.

THE BETHEL SERIES

Bethel is a great way to learn about the Bible. Many Christians feel that they would like to know more about our sacred writings and the Bethel Bible Series is a course designed just for that. Bethel will lead you through the text in a systematic manner. Each week assignments are given that require a couple of hours preperation. Bethel can be quite a commitment but the rewards are outstanding for Christian life and thought. Just ask any of our Bethel graduates.  Read More.
