All applications need to go through

LATEST UPDATE (06/21/17):
The Ministerial Search team will have a report and motion on July 2 at a Congregational Meeting to offer a call to a minister to join the team at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church.
All members and adherents of TEMC are invited and encouraged to attend immediately following the church service in the sanctuary.
Only members are eligible to vote.
Thank you for your continued prayers throughout this process!

Although we are accepting applications until June 16, we are beginning to schedule interviews with applicants. Each member of the search team was selected to represent many areas of our community of faith, some of which include: church leaders, church school and youth, pastoral care, outreach, adult education and our young families.

Thank you for trusting that we are seeking the best for TEMC with God’s guidance. We ask that you pray for us as we establish our interview process over the next two weeks.

We have spent some time looking at the categories of ministry personnel who are eligible to respond to our vacancy as well as the applicants who have responded thus far. Please pray for us as we discern. We trust that God has a good plan for TEMC and we seek His wisdom.

The work of the interview team is moving ahead. We are advertising for the position in The Observer online, on our own TEMC website, and the position has been posted on the Toronto Conference of the United Church of Canada website.  You can help us advertise by letting friends and family know that we are seeking a new Minister of Congregational Life and Membership Development.

Please pray that we will be open to the gifts, skills and passions of each one who responds.
Thank you for the confidence and trust you have placed in each of us who were named to the interview team.

Your interview team members are David Edmison, Lisa Gerstle, Pamela Ritchie Levitt, Lynda McClatchie, Astrid Pinnington,  Barbara Rose, and Martin Tomlinson.

We have had a first gathering to get to know each other and have started our training with Toronto Conference Settlement and Pastoral Relations Committee Liaison, Pamelia Lock. We expect to have the position posted by mid-April. More to follow. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, please continue to hold the interview team in your prayers as they do this important work on behalf of all of us.
